As a proud affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, we are pleased to present the following year-end sales information for Christie’s. These numbers show the strength of the Christie’s brand and the current state of economy as it relates to the art world. The two top-selling art collections were from post-war/contemporary collections as well as Asian Art. The Christie’s website saw a 77% increase in 2011, largely due to 29% of Christie’s bidders doing so online and a 25% traffic increase to the Christie’s LIVE interactive bidding platform.
