London – This week’s auctions of Impressionist and Modern Art have realized £179,079,401 / $282,570,772 / €212,297,318- the highest total for the category in London. The top price of the week was paid for Henry Moore’s Reclining Figure: Festival, 1951, which sold for £19.1 million / $30.1 million / € 22.9 million – a world record price for the artist. In total, 33 lots sold for over £1 million (50 for over US$1 million). The sale attracted bidding from around the world and buyers originated from more than 21 countries in 4 continents.
